As a non-denominational Officiant and Wedding Celebrant serving all of Maryland. I am here to provide a service that meets your needs. My intent is to provide services for people who are spiritual but not necessarily religious. I create a stress-free environment and work with you to make your day very special. I want you to have your wedding your way! Personalized ceremonies for all occasions.

I am an ordained non-denominational minister licensed by the state of Maryland to officiate at weddings.  I am not just an Officiant who says some words at your wedding, but someone who truly wants you to have your personal values and beliefs reflected for all to see on your special day.  I want you to have your wedding your way. Originally born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, for the past thirty years I have resided in Columbia. I am a happy self-actualized person, the mother of two grown children and four grandchildren all of whom I am very proud.

I have taken many paths throughout my lifetime beginning as a nursing student, moving on into the business arena, then to Therapeutic Recreation and finally as a college administrator.  All of these endeavors have given me the opportunity to work and collaborate with a diverse population.  Whatever your age, gender, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, disability or nationality might be I see you first as a human being with real needs and wants and desires.

As a minister I am here to provide a service that meets your needs.  I received my ordination through the Church of Spiritual Humanism and Universal Life Church.  Their beliefs are based on spirituality, nature and our ability as human beings to solve the problems of society using logic, science and social consciousness.  My intent is to provide services for people who are spiritual but not necessarily religious.  Most of my clients choose me because my spiritual values align with theirs.  Most are not affiliated with a specific church however they want a ceremony that will celebrate their own personal values.  I love working with all people and honor and respect whatever belief system you may wish to incorporate into your ceremony.  Unlike many other officiates, I try to schedule no more than two ceremonies a day so that my couples will have my undivided attention and effort. You have my promise that neither will interfere with the other and you will not feel rushed or slighted in any way. I also work with other officiants. Should an emergency arise at the last minute you can rest assured that they will honor the ceremony I have written for you and the transition will be seamless.

During this time decisions need to be made that will truly reflect your needs and desires.  My role is to help you in your decision making process.
