Sarah + James | September 15th 2012-03-09

I had such a great time working with Sarah to plan this special occasion. While James was busy working on his Master's degree is landscape architecture in Virginia, Sarah and I planned all of the details for a relaxed country wedding just outside the groom's hometown of Nashville, TN.

At our first consultation, when Sarah casually asked if I thought Anthropologie was an appropriate store to shop for bridesmaid dresses, I knew we were going to get along just fine. When she suggested mustard yellow, pewter and navy blue as a color palette, I was thrilled to be able to work with these rich hues for a late summer wedding. With rustic moss covered vessels and a collection of "wild" flowers, vintage details such as books and a typewriter perfectly reflected the couple's literary interested. Sarah even got a little DIY out of her system with a fabulous string art monogram. LOVED that detail!

Thanks to Eden Frangipane for sharing these gorgeous images from Sarah + James' romantic outdoor wedding at Southall Eden.

Just Peachy for Fall | Lynne + Jake | October 1 2012-02-21

Soft peach, ivory, and gold tones serves as the backdrop to Lynne's love of purple. I just love the pops of bright orange as well - it really looked amazing in the garden of CJ's Off the Square. Just a touch of draping in the pavilion was a perfect compliment to her Grecian style dress.

Lovely! Many thanks to Richard Suter for sharing his photos with us!

Featured on A Lowcountry Wedding 2012-01-10

I am so excited to be visiting Charleston, SC for the first time this spring. My mom and I are planning a long weekend of antiquing, beach combing and sherry sipping this April and I can't wait! So when the wonderful Charleston-based blog A Lowcountry Wedding featured one of our recent couples, we were thrilled!

Congratulations to Amy Parman and the entire Williamson County Weddings team for a beautiful event!

Part 2: Becky +Jon at Southall Eden 2011-12-27

Continued from Part 1... The celebration began with an intimate hill-side ceremony and quickly transitioned into a good old fashion hoe down with the help of the wonderfully talented Hog Slop String band.

There were lots of personal touches that were especially meaningful to the couple. The groom’s sister designed the invitations and programs. A friend of the bride made custom burlap runners for her tabletops and we used some of Becky’s own collection of vintage containers mixed with Southall Eden’s milk glass collection for the centerpieces.

We used a more contemporary mix of flowers such as pink Protea and assorted succulents with farm wedding classics such as dahlias, thistle and butter stock to provide lots of color and texture throughout the property. One of my favorite details was the home-made relish that Becky bottled for favors. This was an old family recipe (the original copy of the recipe was on display in a frame with the favors) and it is personal touches like this that make any wedding celebration even more special.

Thanks again to Adele Reding Photography for the gorgeous images, Southall Eden for the lovely location and The Enchanted Florist for the fabulous florals.
