Babies! Lots and lots of babies to photograph lately! What a wonderful job I have.
Meet Camille Alden, beautiful daughter of proud parents Elisa and Jimmy. Camille did such a great job during our session. She is incredibly photogenic, just like her mom and dad! In these images she is just a week and a half old, and she already has so much personality.

Laying safe and cozy in mommy’s arms.

Family. I’m a sucker for ring shots at weddings, but I love family ring shots too. Such a wonderful thing when a couple takes the next step in their life and has a child. It can be scary, but it is also amazing!

I think it’s amazing that baby feet already have little wrinkles and lines. Just imagine where these feet have yet to go, and yet, even after only a little more than a week of life, they already tell a story.

Camille is doing some model work for me in this image below. I figure since I use her parent’s wedding images in most of my displays, I should use her for some as well. Camille, the new face of Cope Photography Babies.

And what a great face it is!

She’s chillin’ in style here. What a cutie!

Lisa and Jimmy, welcome to this new phase of your life! Thanks for continuing to let me be a part of your lives. I look forward to taking lots and lots of more pictures of your beautiful girl.

I have a feeling that Sophia and I are going to be very good friends. Considering I’ve been photographing her since birth
Here’s a few favorites from Sophia’s four week old new born session, and then a slideshow of more favs.

Sophia makes some great faces. This one below is a fav, and there are a few more really cute expressions in the slideshow. She’s just chillin’ with her parents in this one.

I think this one is really sweet. Kim and Derrick love their new baby.

Sophia really seemed to be very relaxed during pictures. Newborn pictures can be hard on a baby, their whole schedule gets thrown off, they have to stay awake longer, there’s lots of people talking to them… this can take it’s toll on such a little person, but Sophia did great. She stayed calm and happy the whole time.

Here’s another little cutie! Meet Reese Alexander, and his parents Kim and Jeff.
We did a couple of family pictures, and then some personality shots of Reese by himself. Kim and Jeff were determined to make that boy smile, and boy, did we get some good smiles. I love babies at this age! They are totally convinced that their moms and dads are the funniest people in the world.

Reese is such a sweetheart. Seriously, look at this face! I don’t think he could look anymore precious.

A favorite from the feet pictures. Little round toes. Perfect!

Erin and Jared were referred to me by one of my favorite previous clients Zach and Marissa. Zach and Marissa were referred through the grape vines of friends stemming all the way back to Emily and Olie, married in 2007. Emily and Olie have become great friends of ours, and Emily even assists at weddings with me now. It’s so awesome that I can trace referrals back to several years ago, and all the clients that have come out of the Emily/Olie and Marissa/Zach grapevine are some of my favorite clients! I think that Erin and Jared are a good example of this. We had a great time doing their engagement session!
Erin and Jared met at Muskingum University in New Concord, OH. So that is where we decided to do their engagement session.

Since it’s kind of a long way from my house, Jeff and Allie came with me, and after the session with Erin and Jared, we went camping. It was a great time, even with the rain. Due to the rain, however, Erin and Jared were unable to bring their dogs with them, so we have another session planned for this summer sometime. I can’t wait to meet their pups, from facebook pictures they look pretty cute!
Muskingum is a beautiful campus! I love these doors.

I’m a sucker for spring flowers in the foreground and background. When I saw these iris, I knew I had to get them in the picture.

Ah… the good ol’ Boyd Science Center. Good times, good times.

Lovin’ these red doors in front of the gym.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the images from Amy and Ryan’s beautiful wedding a couple of week’s ago.
Ryan and Amy were married in Wooster, Ohio. I had a wonderful drive up to Wooster, the weather was beautiful so I left a couple of hours early and took my time on my way to the wedding. I had lunch at a place in Wooster called ‘Broken Rocks’ cafe. I also found a cool place called Local Roots, which supports local farmers and craftspeople, they have tons of local produce and products, it was a great place!
After my ramblings, I headed over to the church. Luckily none of us melted, although it was very hot. They did have a few merciful air vents blowing out cold air. Despite the heat, we had a lot of fun, and made some beautiful pictures.

I LOVE this image of Amy looking absolutely gorgeous!
