Romance in Balboa...Rebecca & Bill 2012-04-28

I had a wonderful opportunity to shoot a Bride and Groom session in Balboa. I could tell that this bride had prepared and prepared for this shoot to be beautiful and filled with details. What a gorgeous couple they were to start out with, but they also had brought with them so many great props to use as we walked around balboa. I loved too that balboa had special meaning for them and that it brought back memories of their courtship. Picking locations that mean something to a couple makes all the difference sometimes. As we drove down to San Diego I was arguing with the sun to come out. Rain was threatening us but I kept my hopes very high. It turned out to be great lighting and we got the buttery sun to come out fully towards the end. It was easy, it was fun and we shot until our light had faded completely. I absolutely have to thank my wonderful hubby for keeping my nerves in check and for being there with a backup camera and also getting some great shots. He is so amazing and I truly couldn't do this without him.

Free Spirits....The Jensen Family 2012-03-26

The Jensen Family is one of my very favorite families! I love to hang out with them cuz I know I'm gunna have a good time. They are also one of the most down to earth, giving and loving families that I know. I learn from them all the time and I am so lucky to call them friends.
