In the 1960s he was one of the pioneers of colour photography & in house processing, in 2002 he made the 100% transition to digital capture & has had many articles on the subject published in professional photography trade magazines.

David Simm is a career wedding photographer with a lifetime of experiance, he first photographed weddings on black and white film, back in the 1960's, he was one of the pioneers of  color wedding photographer and for many years printed his own images. In 2001 he was one of the early converts to digital capture and the first photographer in the mid west to offer Italian Story Books.

During the course of his long career, style of wedding phtography have gone through many changes and David Simm adapted his techniques to renain well ahead of the curve,  these days he is equally comfortable with photojournalism, traditional, romantic or fashion style coverage of weddings.

As he says in his own words, " Its the bride's wedding day, not my photoshoot, so it is very important to me that I learn all that I can about the couple, their familes, their likes and dislikes so that I can turn out a fabulous product that will delight them for many years to come and be exactly what they were looking for and them some".
