Deans' Duets

April & Megan provide violin wedding music throughout North Carolina and have ten years of experience as wedding musicians. They design each wedding to fit the couple's unique style. They work with a variety of budgets and venues. April & Megan are violinists, and April is also a pianist, so piano music is an optional addition and is free of charge.

April and Megan Dean have been playing professionally at weddings and other events across the East Coast since 1998.  Their experience playing as a sister-duo makes them uniquely capable to plan your ceremony or event according to your personal style and taste.  Please explore the website and remember that we are here to help you plan your perfect day.


We begin with a free consultation.  You can meet us, hear us play, and discuss music for your ceremony.  At the end of the consultation, you may put down a deposit to reserve your date, or mail us a deposit at a later date.  If you decide to look elsewhere for your music, there is no charge for the consultation.

Our rates include any combination of violin and/or piano music. 

We also offer music for cocktail hours, receptions, and special events. 

If you are working with special circumstances or a particular budget, please let us know your vision.  We are happy to work with you to create a package that works for you. 

We also provide violin solos instead of duets for some smaller settings and smaller budgets.
