I absolutely LOVE my job and I hope it shows. I knew I was meant to be a photographer when I was sixteen and my little brother was born. All I wanted to do was photograph his every moment.

I started working as a professional photographer before going to college for my Art degree in Photography. While working at a photo studio in college I mustered up the courage to try what intimidated me most; wedding photography. I am so glad I did because I fell in love with it. Capturing true emotions is a challenge that I can't get enough of. Photography is my PASSION.

As a recent bride I know how important your wedding pictures are. Your pictures will be all you have to remember your special day. I would love to be the one to capture your most treasured memories and follow you through life as the family photographer.

Dorothy is a great photographer! I asked her to come with me to get my hair and make-up done and she readily agreed! She came up with great shots and poses and really captured the moment. My favorite picture was when I first saw my husband. She really captured that moment for me and I really want to THANK her for that because every time I look at that picture I experience that emotion all over again. She was patient and professional. She let me take my time and have my "moments" when I just needed to relax and calm down. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer who will "capture the moment" and all the emotion.

Every now and then I'll shoot a session that is not wedding related for friends or previous clients. Back when I still offered family sessions this family was one of my first. They have grown into great friends of ours who take care of our furbaby when we travel. I cannot believe Hailee is graduating high school! Here are a couple of my favorites from her shoot...

Micki + Chad | Married • Dallas Wedding Photographer 2012-01-04

Micki & Chad had a very intimate wedding on Chestnut Square in downtown McKinney on 11.11.11. I loved their date, details and pretty much everything about their wedding and if you didn't see the earlier post about it, this is my favorite bouquet of all time <3

Recent Kiddo Shoots 2012-01-02

Since I have been terrible about blogging in 2011 I've decided to do a few highlights posts. One of my work related new years resolutions is to blog post regularly!
I don't often shoot anything other than wedding related sessions but occasionally friends of ours or previous wedding clients return for pictures of their kiddos which I LOVE :)
