We all want to make a difference and a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint, so why not start now with your wedding or event. Elements in Bloom has always strived to work with an eco-friendly business plan. Here's a few things that we do to reduce our carbon footprint day by day, with each and every order. Deliveries are done in our companies Ford Escape Hybrid. We recycle all packing materials that bulk flowers come in, including; tissue, newspaper, cardboard, some plastics and metals. We compost all floral debris not used in design: Stems, leaves, petals etc., as well as any expired floral arrangements we receive back from our clients. We reuse as much as possible: paper, rubber bands and twist ties used in bulk packing processes, vases and containers, we encourage rental over purchase of certain items. We use only web based advertising and encourage doing business via email including contracts and correspondence.

Orange rose petals scattered along the grass aisle-way. Shepherd hooks with hanging Pomander balls in rich orange tones accented the aisle-way. 
The natural vine arch had different sized green and orange Pomander balls hanging from it
The Bride carried a bouquet of Roses, Mokara Orchids, Mini Calla Lillies, Phaleonopsis Orchids, Fern Curls and Spray Roses
Whites, champagnes, soft peaches and salmon orange created a subtle color for her bouquet with a gorgeous creaminess

The Bridesmaids carried rich and colorful bouquets of orange and chartreuse green. A combination of Mini Calla Lillies, Roses, Spray Roses, Protea, Orchids, Fern Curls and Brazillia berry.

Simple arrangements of submerged Tulips and Orchids
The kid's tables had fun centerpieces of wheat grass with lollipops growing out of them. An unusual centerpiece, but also a favor/treat for the kiddos
The cake was done by a family friend, delicious and beautiful

He arrived a month early and was only 3 pounds 9 ounces. He was happy and healthy, just tiny! We stayed in the hospital for a couple weeks to let him grow and when we brought him home it was a world of new adjustments. Hence the lack of blogging! :-)

Congratulations Myra & Michio on a beautiful sunny wedding day at the University of Washington
Bridesmaids carried posies of bright yellow Freesia and Oncydium Orchids with an accent of Equisedum in the bouquets
The Bride carried a truly dynamic bouquet of rich firey Orange and Epplant Mini Calla Lilies, Red Roses, Yellow Freesia, Protea, Lilly Grass, and Agonis foliage
Simple, yet uniquely designed boutonnieres of Mokara Orchids with Equisedum as the stem.
The ceremony was outside at the University of Washington Campus. A big open space of grass surrounded by lush trees and foliage. We decorated the aisle way with two medium floral displays attached to the chairs and scattered the lawn with bright and bold Rose petals
The reception took place at Zen Garden. We decorated the entry with a beautiful table scape of submerged Orchids, floating candles, and Rose petals 
We lined each vase with a collar of Equisedum in different heights and wrapped it with gold wire, it created an interesting element to all the vases and especially to the overall design
Incorporating Manzanita Branches and crystals gave the piece a truly elegant, yet Northwest feel
Instead of a traditional guest book the couple decided on a Wishing Tree. We created this piece to serve as the guest book with tall Manzanita branches, crystals and orchids. The vase covered and with submerged Orchids inside like the entry pieces. Makes for a unique guest book and a wonderful decor piece at your Reception
The cake was covered with Lime Green Cymbidium Orchids blooming from the branches drawn on the cake. Simple, elegant and rich!
