The following are some of our favorite images from the recent wedding of Madison and Danny. They got married at the River Hills Country Club which is located in Valrico,Florida. Being in Florida, we have some of the best weather on earth and outdoor weddings are very popular, especially in the spring and fall seasons. We had scouted this location prior to the wedding and were really excited by the outdoor location where the ceremony would take place.
Unfortunately on the day of the wedding, a storm front passed through the Tampa Bay area and rain started to fall early in the afternoon and the radar showed no signs of it stopping until early the next day. So the ceremony was moved indoors. The rain didn’t put a damper on anybody’s mood, and the bride and groom were very calm and in great moods. The ceremony was beautiful and the bride & groom were radiating with happiness and joy! And it was as if all that positive energy managed to radiate from within the venue and push the rain away, because just as the ceremony ended, the rain stopped!!! As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we knew we couldn’t let this opportunity pass and we quickly got everyone outside and started with the group pictures in front of the venue where they had some beautiful flowers as a backdrop. When the rain still hadn’t returned when we finished the group pictures, we quickly went out to the golf course area and took lots of great pictures. Although the sky was overcast, we were getting some great shots and as long as the rain stayed away, we were all happy! But wait….it gets better!! Just before Madison and Danny were scheduled to go back inside and make their grand entrance to their reception, the clouds started to part and the sun started to shine through!!! Woo Hoo!!!!! We grabbed some awesome pictures with the sun and even with the rainbow that appeared as we walked back towards the clubhouse. What an amazing day full of wonderful little moments and memories that everyone will remember forever. We wish Madison and Danny a lifetime of happiness and married bliss!!

This is the video slideshow of many of our favorite images from the recent engagement session we did for Laura and Eddie. We had so much fun walking around downtown Tampa and finding some really great locations for some cool shots. We were so proud of Laura too, who overcame her fear of heights to pose for some of our favorite shots overlooking the Hillsborough River and the lovely & distinctive minarets. We also went to the other side of the river banks and shot in the opposite direction and showcased the amazing Tampa city skyline. Got lots of great images and had a lot of fun in the process. We are really looking forward to their June wedding!

The following are some of our favorite images from the gorgeous wedding of Lucien and Kendra. We first met this beautiful bride a few months ago, when she was visiting from Denver. Although she grew up in Tampa, she was now living in Denver and making a lot of the plans from Colorado. The meeting with her was great and we immediately knew we would get along great with her. We finally met the groom on the wedding day and he couldn’t have been any nicer. So funny and easy to get along with, which made photographing with him very easy! We got started at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel where everyone was getting ready. Once everyone was dressed, we took advantage of how beautiful this hotel is and captured many beautiful pictures before everyone headed out to the ceremony site.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Davis Island Yacht Club, which is such a beautiful location, surrounded by the waters of Tampa Bay. We were a little bit worried that it might rain, as the skies looked threatening for some time. Luckily, it never rained and we just had some wind and cloudy skies which helped create some very cool and dramatic pictures near sunset!
As for the wedding and reception, it was great! There were people who had flown in from all over the country and the world to help celebrate the union of these two amazing people. There were tears of joy and tons of laughter to be had throughout the night. As experienced Tampa wedding photographers, we always take a lot of pride in capturing the many beautiful little moments that make for a memorable wedding day. This wedding had so many precious little moments and we felt really honored to have spent this day and night in the company of so many wonderful people. We wish Kendra and Lucien all the best and a lifetime of married bliss!

The following is a video slideshow of some of our favorite images of the recent wedding of RC and Jessica. They got married at The Lake Club at Lakewood Ranch, an exclusive Tuscan inspired private club located just east of Sarasota, Florida. April is such a wonderful time to get married in Florida. The cold spells of winter are done and temperatures are usually in the 70′s with humidity levels that are still very low and comfortable. As experienced Sarasota wedding photographers, we know that those factors make a perfect combination for an outdoor wedding. For those of you that read our blog frequently or follow us on Facebook, you might remember this cute couple. We photographed their engagement session in downtown Tampa and did some pictures with their precious little daughter. They love her so much and everything in their lives revolves around her. They made sure to include her in the wedding. The most touching moment was when midway through their first dance as husband and wife, they brought out their daughter to the dance floor and finished dancing to their song with their precious little angel. Definitely a beautiful sight that made me teary eyed and one that I will always remember.
This couple and their extended family have so much love for each other and it was so heartwarming to have gotten to know this family and capture so many beautiful memories for them. We wish them a lifetime of joy and married bliss.
