Busy weekend I 2007-12-11

This past weekend I have attended the Panasonic Digital Photo Academy workshop the instructor was Michael Thoennes who is a very talented photographer with experience in fine art photography, stock photography, commercial photography and very good at teaching. It was a really a great learning experience and a terrific moment to try out my new Canon 5D.

Busy weekend II 2007-12-11

Last weekend We had in Miami the event called Art Basel+Miami. This is an international mega event of the arts initially created in Switzerland and now held in Miami in an annual basis since 2002.
Art Basel+Miami is really a huge event that is held in different places, among them in the area know as the "Miami Design District" and in Miami Beach, but every art gallery, design store or retail related place takes advantage of it and have their own party, event, expo or exhibition.
One of this add-ons events was the Miami Beach Art Photo Expo which was an amazing event, it was really fashion oriented and some of the pictures exhibited really took my breath away. I could not believe that such a beautiful work of art was made with a camera instead of a brush.

Great news!...Biltmore Hotel wedding!!! 2007-12-11

I am really very happy and excited about it, on December 30th I am going to shoot a wedding at the Biltmore Hotel! Wow I can't believe it what a great way to finish this year.
I will be assisting to Tracy Neidermayer an amazing photographer.
This is going to be an amazing wedding and the reception is going to take place at the most iconic hotel in Miami I still can't believe my luck. Thanks god! (more...)

Happy Holidays!!! 2008-01-01

I Just wanted to wish everybody a happy new year!

In a personal note I would like to thank God for all his blessings, my wife for her unconditional love, support, understanding and patience to endure share me with my lover (the photography) which really takes me away from her a lot of time.
Also a big thanks to clients, prospective clients, suppliers and friends for keep supporting us.

No doubt 2007 has been a great year, honestly I can't complain and I expect anxiously what brings 2008.

I really hope this year brings peace, prosperity, good vibe and GREAT PICTURES. (more...)

Rita 2008-01-04

I was trying out my new lens and flash and took these pictures of my wife in a really windy night in our balcony. I think she looks amazing in these pictures and wanted to post them.
She asked me to leave very clear that she was without make up, messy hair, sleepy and in not exactly the best mood for pictures (Vanity Fair) ;) Anyway I think she looks fantastic.
