Horrible photo coverage for our wedding. Monica sat in the pew the whole wedding so that the angle was the same in all the shots. The white balance was off and the pictures were out of focus. Many shots were only one of the scene so that the picture was with closed eyes or out of focus. I contacted to get a refund and was told it was my fault the pics were horrible.
Mine look nothing like the ones on their website or blog. They must have purchased stock photos to place on their site to sucker customers into using them. My wedding is Shar and matt... on the blog feel free to email me for more info. firstltshar@yahoo.com
Family Affair Photography says:
Unfortunately, we haven't been able to do a single thing to please this bride. We had two photographers - one who moved around toward the back and one who was up front and didn't move around due to minister request that we don't move around much. This is often the case in church weddings. Also, if we stood and moved around, it would have interfered with the sight lines of the videographer. Additionally, if I moved around a lot the pictures would have all been blurry because of slower shutter speeds needed to photograph without flash - due to request from minister. And again, very common with church weddings.
Our customers view all photographs in an online gallery prior to receiving the images on a disc. She had no problems with the photographs until she had the disc in her hands at that point, once she had a chance to copy it, she demanded a full refund. Why didn't she complain before she got the disc when she had plenty of opportunity to view and have us make corrections? The gallery was viewed at least 27 times prior to receiving the images on the disc.
Some of the complaints from this bride; weeds poking through the sidewalk showing in the photo, a bridesmaid who looked unhappy in all the photos, taking a few photos of her best friends baby, etc.
Thank-you for the compliment that ALL of our photographs must be purchased 'stock' photos. All photographs on our site were taken by us, and we have the image files and contracts to prove it.
