I chose Freeman Formalwear to provide rental tuxedos for my wedding, and was absolutely disgusted with the customer service level that was provided.
6 months before my wedding, I went with my brother to Freeman's flagship location on Yonge Street to make reservations for tuxedos for our wedding. We were measured and given written confirmations of the styles and sizes. We were provided with FF #'s that confirmed our reservation.
Our wedding party were then measured as well, and the measurements were consolidated and sent by email to Rameen at the Yonge Street location. Rameen emailed back within 24 hours confirming that he had received and processed our full reservation for 7 tuxedos.
Two weeks before our wedding, I confirmed via phone and email with the Mario Uomo location in Ottawa (where our wedding was being held) that they had our full reservation and would call when the suits arrived. On Thursday evening, I received confirmation that the tuxedos had arrived at the Ottawa location. On Friday morning, we arrived for our final fittings, only to find that only 5 suits had arrived!
Not only did Freeman completely mess up the order, they had the nerve to charge me an additional fee to ship the correct suits! Further to that, I had to pickup the tuxedos from the Greyhound bus station at 7am on my wedding day!
If your wedding is important to you, and you want a vendor you can count on, find someone else.
