I wish I could tell in adequate how much I enjoy this cute couple! The more I am around them, the more I LOVE them - they are sincere, in love with each other - and funny!
So, please meet Julie (Long) and Steven Mueller - married on August 2, 2009 with both ceremony and reception held at Fort Washington Country Club. Even though they picked the hottest month of the year (generally) the weather was fairly cooperative and cooled down to just under 100 degrees for us so it was a GREAT day, (and no golf balls were shot our way as we did the bridal party on the green!).
Julie and Steven were surrounded by their loving family and friends - many friends were their “river buddies” (Julie and Steven are both river guides - I am impressed!) as well as Julie’s friends from the stable where she boards her mighty steed.
Julie was stunning in her gown from Black Tie (and Steven as handsome in his tux from Black Tie, as well). Hair and makeup were by Carlin, her flowers were by Apropos and cake by Eddies Bakery.
I always love to listen to the toasts by family and friends and watch interaction between the individuals. It was clearly evident that both Julie and Steven are highly regarded and loved very much - I was very honored to have lived this day with them and witness the first day of the rest of their lives!

Kari McGaughy became Mrs. Justin Soares on July 25th. Their ceremony was at Northwest Church (Chapel) with the reception at Pardini’s.

Kari and Justin are a fantastic couple and I consider it a privilege to have been their wedding photographer. They are fun to be around - and the love they have for each other is so very evident. My 2nd shooter for the day was in awe of Kari and Justin and circle of family and friends they share, as well as their deep faith.

I recently met Erin and Jared who will be married this October. This young couple just made my day when they indicated that they would love to have their engagement session downtown. We explored some of my favorite locations and revisited a couple that I hadn’t worked with for a while. I love the textures of old Fresno - worn brick, crackled paint, the sun creating interesting patterns on the pavement and walls (of course nothing can beat the siloutte of young love) and colorful and very curious artwork are wonderful backdrops for handholding, intimate embraces and yes, being silly.

Erin and Jared’s wedding date is set for October 3rd…I can’t wait to see what their wedding day holds for me…guaranteed to be a wonderful blessing!

I first met Lisa and Kevin over a year ago when they were searching for a photographer for their wedding. Little did I know at that time how much I would enjoy them! Lisa has one of the biggest smiles and she makes me happy just being around her. Their engagement session was early in 2008 at Three Rivers - and they treked up and down hills for me, climbed a tree and even ate ice cream! I knew then that the wedding experience would be special.
The wedding was Memorial Day week-end (May 30, 2009) in Hanford at beautiful Saint Bridgett Church, reception following at the Holiday Inn in Visalia. They allowed enough time after the ceremony for photography time in Hanford, starting with the famous Superior Dairy Ice Cream shop and then going into the city square and alleyways. I love it when couples want to have this type of coverage!
