This one-year old baby boy was so incredibly cute and had such a sweet disposition at both the photo shoot and the view-and-order appointment. He is the godson of one of my favorite wedding clients who brought him in for his one-year portrait session. These images were our top selections from an abundance of great image choices. Maddie, Senior Pictures St Paul, Senior Portraits Roseville 2012-05-23

Maddie will soon be graduating from Roseville Area High School and was chosen to deliver the commencement address. Her mom is so proud. These are some samples from our shoot last summer. She went with the most popular session which is to combine the studio session and an outdoor shoot for a really wide range of images.

Maren, Senior Pictures St. Paul, High School Senior Portrait Photographer 2012-04-26

Maren, a classy and impressive senior at Humboldt High School, lives right around the corner from my studio. She set up a consultation about two months ago and we planned out our photo session. We decided to have three photo shoots in one - a large family portrait since her family has never had one, a quick quinceanera portrait for her younger sister and a creative and fun high school senior photo shoot for her. We stayed local and photographed at Harriet Island with the Mississippi and downtown St. Paul in background. These were our top selections.

St Paul Minneapolis Kids and Childrens Photographer - Betsy 2012-04-20

Betsy turned one year old and came back in for her final baby steps series session. You wouldn't know it, but her mom was very worried that she didn't smile, was grouchy and didn't do well. She was a little fussy but after photographing kids for over 10 years, I'm fairly expert at capturing fleeting smiles, cute expressions and know how to help the little ones relax and enjoy themselves.  In my opinion she had a great shoot and her mom was thrilled.

Baby Photographer Hudson, Kids Photography St. Paul 2012-03-18

Gracie, a Wisconsin baby, turned one and came back to the St. Paul Portrait studio for her third Baby Steps Series session. Its amazing to see how much she has grown since being five days old. She is healthy, happy and gorgeous. Despite having just come from getting her shots, I was able to capture some some smiles and great expressions. Her parents were pleasantly surprised "you can't even tell she was being fussy." - I love to hear that.
