Every wedding is unique and special and I want to bring that out in your own day! Using my blended photojournalistic and artistic style of photography, I will work with you so you get exactly what you want. I don't believe in overly posed photographs. I do believe in the relationships between two people, a parent and their child, siblings, and a pioneering soul headed out to face the world for the first time.

I photograph in a way that puts you at ease. The number one thing I hear from clients after a shoot is that they completely forgot there was a camera - that it just seemed like a fun, memorable afternoon spent with loved ones. And that's what I like to hear! Having your picture taken shouldn't be work. It should be a day spent creating art that you will be able to hang in your house or put in an album and always look at to remember, giggle, and smile.

Together, we'll catch those fleeting moments that you will be able to reflect on for years to come. You're only job is being you - I'll do the rest!

Liz was an excellent photographer. She was creative, sweet, and incredibly flexible. With Cherry blossom season coming to a close and our first outdoor photo shoot having to be postponed due to bad weather, Liz even met us on a weekday evening to get the shots we wanted! She perhaps caught my fiance in the cutest candid pose of his life too - his face towards the camera full of laughter. Liz also captured plenty of posed shots and made us feel comfortable even while we were trying hard not to laugh each time we posed kissing! I would recommend Liz as an engagement or even wedding photographer to anyone who wants a professional, poised, and competitively priced photographer.

Meet Charlotte! 2012-02-07

I had big plans for Charlotte before she even came into the studio! Knowing her mom is a proud Virginia Tech Alum, I knew orange was just the color for this little girl. Charlotte must have known it was her first photo session, too! She took one look around then fell right to sleep with the warmth of the love around her. What a beautiful young lady!

Meet Evelyn! 2012-02-07

My clients were telling me this past winter, “There is a total boy baby trend going on! You’re going to have all boys in the studio this year!” I guess it’s no surprise that isn’t the case! Little Evelyn is seven weeks old and did an incredible job at her first modeling gig. Don’t you just want to squish those cheeks???
