I have been a fan of the NBC tv show SMASH ever since I heard they were filming it! I new it was going to be amazing. The season finally of SMASH had my heart racing as if I was Karen and when she started singing Don’t Forget Me, tears were flowing. This got me thinking all about high school and being on stage. I couldn’t sleep last night, so I went through all of my old photo albums and found some pretty funny photos. I decided I just needed to share them with all of you. Enjoy.
All throughout high school the theatre was my home. Godspell was my first time on a real stage. Mr. Stewart was our Director and he changed my life, along with Rachel our musical director. Joining the cast of Godspell helped me meet so many wonderful people on that stage and even back stage!
When I wasn’t onstage, I was backstage running hair and makeup or costumes. I just needed to be involved.
The summer before my Senior year, Rachel, who use to be our musical director decided she was going to start a musical comany called Dreamweavers. For her first show she chose ME to play the leading lady, Mabel in Pirates of Penzance!! It was unreal.
I like to say that musical changed my life. Not only did I get the leading roll but I met the man of my dreams, Adam.
We were SO young…but we fell in love. Spring break Senior year he asked me to marry him.
Life Changer.
Senior year was amazing in so many ways….and so much to do with the theatre.
Our Girls – I played a loud mean neighbor….I wore a fake butt and boobs! It was SO funny!
Leader of the Pack was my final high school production and it was an amazing time. ha. check out my awesome scan from my scrapbook…..
After high school I decided to not pursue acting, but to follow my heart and my passion for photography and started Inner Circle Photography. Although I am happy with my choice…I long for the stage all the time.

I just wanted to say Happy Friday and to let you know I will be out of the office until Wednesday! Adam and I are headed to Florida with a bunch of friends!

Jamin and Kristina were married in last May in Downtown Plymouth.

The ceremony was so sweet. The joy of having two photographers…..her view and his view.
I love the look on Kristina’s face right after they walked back down is aisle.
After family photos we headed to Glen Oaks for some fun photos! Even with less than 30 minutes we were able to get some really great memorable photos!

This past weekend was amazing! Saturday was so unreal in case you didn’t see the video, you can watch it here.
Adam was able to come with me to the station…which was wonderful! He had my iPhone and was able to get a few photos of the process!
We had to arrive at 6:20 am. It was still dark.
Adam grabbed this one of me right before going on. We were hanging out in the green room.
Prepping. By now my hands are sweating and I want to barf.
and here we are live on tv!
It was over so fast. I feel like I only had one real slip up. Hey, I will take it!
I had an engagement session later that day…quick and simple!
Niki and Dan are getting married next year!!
Adam and I went to celebrate the day with dinner at Katana in Royal Oak. Oh how I love dinner there!
The next day just went by so fast!
We had a great turn out! Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out!
