J B Pivots Beach Club

We teach the S.C. state dance "The Shag" and we provide Shag Instructors, Carolina Beach Music Bands, and DJs for weddings, receptions, or rehearsal parties. We also have a great venue for you to have your parties. We provide a DJ , a 4,000 square foot area with a large dance floor and a full bar. Please call us and have your rehearsal party, reception, or bachelor or bachelorette party with us

Shag Lessons are offered Tuesdays, Thursdays 7:30 We teach Basic I , Basic II, and Intermediate Lessons.  You do not have to know how to dance.  We teach the real basics! No partner needed! Cost is only $7 for Lessons and a night of dancing.

Adult basic is also taught on Saturdays at 7:00

Junior lessons are free and taught each Saturday at 6 PM Ages 2-20

We also have a wonderful venue to offer you.  You can either lease it for the evening on Saturday night and bring in your own food and beverages or you can just bring your party in and use our bar and allow the public to also come in.   If it is leased out SLED (S.C. Law Enforcement) will not allow the sale of alcohol from the venue, you must then bring in your own.

We have a great big dance floor.  A very nice DJ booth with sound equipment.  We have a great list of bands, djs, and dance instructors for you to choose from.
