seattle wedding ~ woodland park zoo ~ anna & jeramie 2011-08-08

when i met anna and jeramie about their wedding photography last year, anna said she loves a 'dramatic flair'...well, the 'old hollywood' style of their wedding at woodland park zoo totally brought the drama...anna's amazing dress and look for the day, the peacock feathers and the pouring rain during their ceremony sure did too.  we started the day at chelsea station inn across the street from the zoo where the girls were getting ready...   

i am so in love with the photo above...i think it's the blur of the brush...anna just rocked those lashes, pin curls and dark lips...

anna totally looked amazing in this dress right?!?!

 the wedding party was ready to play in the rain and ham it up for the camera...so glad the rain held off...


we headed back over to the chelsea station inn for the signing of the ketubah before heading back to the rose garden for the ceremony...the rain was intense, but added something really sweet...

seattle wedding ~ port gamble church & pavilion ~ courtney & joe 2011-08-04

courtney and joe may have had rain occasionally on their wedding day, but they had far more sunshine...the way that joe looks at courtney is amazing and her tears throughout the day were so sweet...

the boys got ready first...with the girls not far behind...

west seattle wedding ~ alki beach ~ jen & dan 2011-08-02

so the first thing i'd like to mention is that there were definitely adults at jen and dan's wedding...the kids were just so flipping cute that i had to take a bunch of photos of them...seriously a huge group of cuteness was present. 
ok, back to jen and dan...such a sweet couple - they had lots of friends and family in from around the country and our famous rain did not disappoint.  the day started at hotel andra with jen, her mama and sister...
the rain stayed away UNTIL two seconds before jen and her folks walked down the aisle at hamilton viewpoint park - it poured on them, but jen is so awesome - she just laughed and dan beamed when he saw her for the first time...the umbrellas came in handy, but the rain left just as quickly...


after the ceremony, everyone headed down to the alki bathhouse for the party and even more rain...

some dear friends got them their own brick by the alki statue of liberty...
