He turned one last month and while I’ve taken lots of personal photos I’ve just now gotten around to doing a few more “professional” photos of my little man.
Tristen: What can I say about you? You are my little bundle of energy. Doing everything at 1000%. People joke around about the “pitter-patter of little feet” , well ever since you learned to walk at a mere 9 months old you’ve been “thump-thumping” through my house. You crash into furniture, throw your toys, break things, yell, giggle, cry and talk with all of your little heart. You are the first thing my older two want to hug when they get home. I hear you and your older brother “talking” and giggling nearly every night when your supposed to be sleeping. You snuggle me when your tired. But that’s rare because you are never tired! You seem to learn a new word every day, but my heart melts every time I hear you yell “mom-mom.” You drink everything like Napolean Dyanmite in that scene where he drenches his shirt after working out. You dance your little heart out everytime music comes on. It doesn’t matter what it is….you’ll be dancing. I love to watch you in the car when I play the radio. You kick and wave your arms like it’s the last time you’ll ever hear music again. Every time! You play peek-a-boo with me and your cuteness….well I don’t even have words for it! You bring so much joy and laughter to my life. While sometimes you wear me out with your abundance of energy, I’m so happy that God blessed me with you my sweet little son and I wouldn’t trade that beautiful exhaustion you give me for anything!. Happy Birthday!!!
