John’s Pizzeria of Times Square, located in Manhattan at 260 W 44th Street, directly across the street from the Broadway musical Phantom of the Opera, opened its doors in 1997. Situated in the heart of the Times Square district, John’s Pizzeria boasts the unique advantage of being built in a renovated Gospel Tabernacle Church, which dates back to the late 1800s. With over 400 seats, four pizza ovens and two kitchens, this outpost can accommodate both small and large parties. Adorned with original metal sconces and a mural of New York City done by artist Douglas Cooper, the pizzeria also has an original stained glass ceiling, circular in shape and, by chance, sectioned to look like a pizza cut into 8 slices.

John’s Pizzeria has hosted numerous opening and closing parties for the hit television series The Sopranos on HBO. The popular teen singing sensation The Jonas Brothers frequent John’s whenever they are in New York City (and there are rumors of another large party for them in the near future). John’s Pizzeria has hosted numerous weddings, one of which was for Chris Carlin, sportscaster for the Don Imus show.

Serving fresh, coal-fired brick oven pizzas daily, John’s is known for its delicious pizza and efficient service, and is perfect for weddings, bat mitzvahs and company parties. While John's offers a full menu of delicious Italian cuisine, the clear winner in the restaurant is the pizza. Featured on the Travel Channels Top Ten Pizzerias in the United States and host to the award winning, dough tossing U.S. Pizza Olympic Team, John’s is best known for the simplest of things: a smooth, flavorful sauce, rich, melted cheese that stretches a mile without breaking, and a perfectly charred crust. Topping portions are never pre-set, pizzas are always hand-made and the doors are always open, seven days a week from 11:30am to 11:30pm.
