We are a husband and wife team deeply in love and we share a passion for documenting the stories of other couples in love. We cater to clients that not only appreciate the art of photography, but enjoy the experience as well. Getting to know each couple on a personal level is an important part of that experience. For us, it's not just about the wedding day but also who you are and how you met.

Kismet Photography features the wedding and portrait imagery of Curtis and Emily Snyder, a husband and wife team, with a passion for photographing life and love. Curtis and Emily are wedding and portrait photographers based in Greenville, SC. Kismet Photography serves all of Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina and is available for travel nationally and internationally. Our photography style focuses on contemporary photojournalism with an eye for the unexpected and a desire to be different.

Kismet Photography is a Green Vendor

We offer greeting cards and press-printed products on an Art Recycled paper. We also offer a program in which we will match a couple if they purchase carbon offset credits for their wedding. Also, we do not use paper for anything other than contracts and prints. All other forms and invoices are submitted and completed online. We pay all bills online. We reuse any paper or junk mail that has a blank side for miscellaneous office documents or scrap paper. We We also recycle or reuse all paper, magazines, junk mail and cardboard packaging from our album and print suppliers. For print mailings, we use envelopes that are made from 100% recycled paper and are recyclable. Our office and studio is energy efficient and we use all compact fluorescent bulbs. Our computers are on power strips which are disconnected when not in use to avoid phantom loads. We use rechargeable batteries in all of our equipment. We do not provide paper proofs and instead project images for clients in our gallery and only print the images they order. Our business vehicle is a very fuel-efficient sub-compact car. We shoot in all digital so there is no wasted film or negatives. Our new studio uses renewable cork for flooring, low/no VOC paints as well as a bio-based foam insulation derived from castor beans, a renewable resource, for energy efficiency.
