I recently got married to a wonderful man and spent 15 months planning and paying for my dream wedding. Someone recommended Karmen Pannell to me and I met with her as a potential month-of coordinator to help pull my wedding together. I was quite impressed with the show she put on, so much so that not only did I hire her to coordinate my wedding, but I hired her to do the flowers as well. What a huge mistake!

If you want to remember your wedding as being the best day of your life and the day that you got everything you ever dreamed of having, do NOT hire K.P. Event Designs. I would not hire Karmen to plan my dogs birthday party. She took my money, in advance, and basically did what she wanted to do. I did not receive anything that we discussed as far as flowers go. Instead of the huge beautiful, colorful alter arrangements in glass vases I was promised, we got rose bushes arranged on styrofoam. Instead of pomander balls as pew arrangements, we got bridesmaid bouquets stuck in the pew rings. My bouquet as well as the arrangements in the receiption hall were all wrong. It does get worse.

Karmen acted like she did not know what was going on during rehearsal and on the wedding day. Our mothers did not receive instructions on the unity candle. The bridal party was lined up wrong. The DJ did not have a list of bridal party members. The wedding started late and Karmen was not around to execute the pre-wedding time line.

I contacted Karmen to discuss my dissatisfaction when I came back from my honeymoon and she has not responded at all. I called and sent emails. After doing my research I discovered that she has been sued before for basically the same thing and my lawsuit will soon commence.

Karmen is unprofessional and obviously was not ready for the caliber of wedding that I had despite what she led me to believe. She was overwhelmed and understaffed and it showed. If you're looking for a planner...keep looking. You won't find what you're looking for here!
