In memory of Blake Matthew Dickey 2009-04-27

In the photos below, the baby boy is Blake Dickey, born January 20, 2009. He passed away on April 22, 2009. Blake had a condition known as "trisomy 18" that causes the health problems that took his life. We love Blake and know that he is heaven as we continue to pray for his family.

An approach to photographing the Golden Gate 2009-05-02

The Golden Gate Bridge is surely the most photographed bridge in the world - it's been "done," no doubt about it. On Monday, I was in San Francisco and decided to take another shot at it. The images have been manipulated in Photoshop, with several filters applied, most of them from Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0.
