Children's Book Reading & Signing this Friday, December 4th 2009-12-02

My dear Aunt Beckie has just published her first book! For years she has created beautiful watercolors, and last year had a wonderful idea for a children's book series using her gentle and lovely watercolors as the illustrations.

The book "The Little Ele-funny" from the series "Animals with Attitude", is beautiful to look at and has a wonderful message for kids of all ages (including adults!) and has arrived just in time for the holidays (the PERFECT stocking stuffer for all the kids in your life!)

Writer and illustrator, Beckie Tau debuts her first book in the "Animals with Attitude" series, "The Little Ele-funny".

"The best way to understand someone else's feelings is to experience the same thing. In The Little Ele-funny, Elle knows that laughing is fun, unless you're the one being laughed at! She learns a painful yet valuable lesson, but ultimately, everyone ends up laughing after all."

Author Beckie Tau has moved and lived in various places around the United States and Europe but currently calls South Dakota home. She lives with her husband, Phil, and three children: Audrey, Aimee, and Evan. She has thirty-eight nieces and nephews so far and dedicates this book to all the children in her life.

A select number of books will be available for sale with the author present to sign them.
