Okay I know, it's about time! Well, here goes my first post and I want to share with all of you my favorite wedding, portrait, and special event photos of 2007. I want to thank all of my clients, who I now consider friends, for an enlightening year with beautiful memories. Each of you inspired my creative juices in different ways and because of you I continue to grow as an artist. I learned so much last year, thanks to the likes of Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) and Professional Photographer of America, Inc. (PPA). I am so looking forward to 2008 and what it will bring. The passion continues to grow in leaps and bounds and throughout the year I will be sharing with all of you its fruits.

Last fall I had the pleasure of doing a portrait photography session of beautiful blue eyed Ryan. What fun! What a great baby boy, full of smiles and he loves classical music. I can hardly wait for
the next session to see how he has grown; see you soon Ryan!

Tiffany looked like a princess on that day and Charles handsomely dressed in white couldn't keep his eyes off of his beatiful bride. Vows were exchanged and tears were shed, this was an absolutely stunning couple and their love for one another was apparent to everyone. I had the honor of photographing their engagement session and wedding day and it was a pure pleasure. Thanks Tiffany and Charles for reminding all of us
what love is all about.

I had an experience yesterday that leads me to believe that good customer service is becoming a thing of the past. I had an appointment scheduled and when I showed up on time, I was told that it needed to be rescheduled because an item that was required for my appointment had not yet arrived. Why was I not told this at least one day before my appointment? I left my work, drove to their office, only to be told that someone tried to call me, when in fact they didn't. I don't know about you, but I consider this behavior from someone that I am paying to be totally unacceptable. It is things like this that make me strive for outstanding customer service in my own business. I know how I felt yesterday and I never want my customers to feel this way. More and more I am experiencing this type of behavior from businesses and most of them don't seem to care if the customer is treated poorly. Is this the norm? What are your expectations?
