Here’s a few from Melissa and Larry’s engagement session on Queen Anne hill. We shot a few at Kerry Park and then went over to Parson’s garden down the street. They brought along their pups, who were a little shy, but great models! Dogs are funny because they tend to either love the camera, or be scared of it. These two were a little nervous whenever I pointed it at them so I had to be sneaky in order to get their picture.

Christy is a model who needed some updated head shot’s for her book. We have a ton of great walls and textures to use as backgrounds in the area near the studio, so we just walked around the block and shot a few in the area right outside the studio.

Happy New Year Everyone. Sorry for the few blog posts lately, but I’ve been doing a lot of work on the site behind the scenes, and of course shooting a bunch.
Here’s a few from the last Seahawk’s game of the season. I still can’t believe we had such a bad year. But the great thing about the NFL is you can turn things around quickly, so cross your fingers this off season.

Nate Burleson signed autographs before the game. He signed for everyone who asked, which is pretty rare. It's great to see when players really give back to the fans.

Favorite player into of the day: Colin Cole. He has a great look for a Defensive Tackle.

Nick Reed broke through with a great tackle on the opening kickoff.

The Hawks spend most of the day chasing Chris Johnson. It really felt like they did a good job of containing him, but unfortunately containing him means he still gets 130 yards. He's definitely a player to watch the next couple years.

Julius Jones runs the ball down the field.

Patrick Kerney chases Chris Johnson to the sideline at Qwest Field.

John Carlson dunks the ball over the goal post after scoring a touchdown.

I had to run up to the press box during the game and snapped a quick one from the elevator.

Here’s a few from Heather and Ben’s winter engagement session. We shot a few at the Willow’s Lodge where they got engaged, and then also a few across the street at Chateau St. Michelle.
I love the challenge of shooting during the winter, because the cold, wet, and dark weather forces you to think a little more creatively and shoot differently than during the warmer times of year. We’ve developed a great way to make sure we have “sun” even when the real one isn’t available.

Sorry it’s been so long between posts. My poor blog has been neglected during the past few weeks. It’s been quite the busy time since I was contracted to shoot for the MLS during MLS Cup week (stay tuned for some pictures), and then have been working like crazy on album designs, portraits sessions, and then all the holiday stuff. It’s one of those times of year where I always think I won’t be busy, but when it arrives I somehow have a ton of projects come my way. Luckily I love what I do, so that makes it a lot easier
Here’s a few pictures from Sara and Larry’s wedding ceremony and reception at the Edgewater Hotel in Downtown Seattle. The Edgewater is such a cool location, we always get great pictures there. Carna from Very Important Events coordinating the event, and as usual everything looked great and the day went really smoothly.
