Michigan's Best Entertainment is a Green Vendor

We use all low voltage gear...including digital amplification, LED effect/up lighting, and energy star rated computers(both in office and on location with our DJ rig). This is beneficial in several ways. Obviously, a lower carbon footprint being one. Another being less waste product from our lighting in that our LED effects/up lighting is designed to last up to 50,000 hours of use, as apposed to the 100-200 hours with standard high heat lighting of old. Because of these efficiencies, we have actually changed our contracts. We used to require 2 20 amp circuits at venues to effectively perform. Now days we can run our entire set up off a 13 amp generator (and have in the middle of a field). Thus, we took the power requirement listed in the contract down to a single 15 amp circuit. The additional benefit to the customer being a complete elimination of the old "oops, we tripped the breaker" moment at events. We don't miss those moments at all.
