I'm not sure if the following meets your guidelines. We buy carbon offsets from TerraPass or Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) (sometimes called Green Tags) We use a digital DJ system which reduces plastic waste. We play mp3's. And we encourage digital downloading (or else buying vintage vinyl or used CD's). Our sound system uses amplified speakers instead of an amp and speaker system. That means we need less power to run at the same volumes. We use LED lighting. Compared to traditional halogen lights, LED lights compare in brightness in side by side visual comparisons, but use a fraction of the electricity and last years longer. Most DJ lighting effects are available in LED format. We have online forms and planners to simplify Client preparation and we eliminate much of the paper printing that way. Our company is not only green, we are green on a budjet. Our brochures, business cards, document printing paper are made of recycled materials. We purchase used, rebuilt or refurbished equipment when available that has been tested, this includes DJ equipment (all types), Laptop, Desktop Computers and accessories. Our office furniture is used. We only allow filtered water in our offices for coffee, tea, etc. we provide re-usable water bottles for our employees that are made of recyled material. We provide glass coffee cups and glasses, cloth napkins (washable) and real table wear. We don't allow paper or styrofoam types of cups or glasses, paper towels or napkins in our office, even if they are made of recycled materials. We only use green cleaning products for cleaning and cloth cleaning rags that are washable.
