Melissa and Mario had a great idea to do their engagement photo session in downtown Pasadena, CA. – in the rain. And it was seriously raining… We had a great shoot thanks to my trusty assistants, Caleb and Joshua Vance. With their umbrella holding skills, we managed to get some really fun shots and keep water out of the camera.

You’ll notice that engagement photo sessions are included in nearly all of the packages I offer. I believe these sessions are the foundation for a great wedding day shoot. And, as you can see by the images, your engagement pictures are a great addition to your wedding images. Not to mention that the session is an experience unto itself.
Yes, as I sort through the images, each image is given careful consideration. Certain images are enhanced for color and contrast according to my photographic style and others are changed to B&W or toned for artist impact.

Only one per day. On a few occasions, I have shot back to back weddings on a weekend… meaning one on Saturday and one the following day. That is not too common but it can occur.

I’m very flexible on breaks and meals. The flow of the day and the time line of the event dictate if/when breaks occur. As far as meals go… some couples choose to serve the same food as the wedding guests and some do a vendor meal. Either is fine. I’ll usually try to grab a quick bite while the bride and groom are eating.
Travel expenses apply for weddings held further than 50 miles from Los Angeles, CA. Some exceptions are made. Please inquire.
Your final images are edited, so they are not proofs. They are delivered digitally – on disc or hard drive and online.
