Revisiting one of our favorite weddings….Isabella and Peter 2010-06-15

It was an absolute delight working with Isabella and Peter! The first thing we did with this fun couple was to create a love story taking a walk with them through a day in their lives and learning about how they met and fell in love! From gourmet meals at home through walks in the neighborhood with their dog, Henry, and a stop at the local Starbucks, we captured their story, incorporating their favorite song, “Love you till the end”.

The excitement didn’t stop with the love story, but continued into the wedding ceremony, set in the beautiful gardens outside the Omni Shoreham Hotel. Watch the couple dance the night away. The highlight is set to the song “To the Moon and Back”, by Savage Garden.

Leo and Vivi dance the Tango! 2010-06-10

A lot can be said about this beautiful couple and their Greek and Armenian Fusion Wedding.  This couple was very talented.  We were amazed at how flawless their first dance was.  What took weeks and months of preparation paid off.  In front of all their friends they did a sensual Tango dance.  For dramatic effect they used only one single spotlight.  The dance concluded with a roar of applause from all their friends and family.
Tradition also played an important role is this couple’s wedding.  The ceremony was held at the historic Greek church, St. Sophia’s in Washington DC.  The reception followed the ceremony in their family’s backyard tent.  This energetic couple danced the night away to traditional Armenian and Greek music.  Thank you Leo and Vivi for letting us capture your special Day.

Bhangra Blowout 17 2010-06-04

Suburban Video is honored to present the Bhangra Blowout 17, the longest run and most prestigious competition in the U.S.   Over 4,000 people attended this exciting event held  at DAR Constitution Hall, Washington DC.

Hearts Delight 2010-05-28

The 2010 Heart’s Delight Committee and the American Heart Association hosted a three day wine tasting and Auction. Guests enjoyed fine wine, wonderful food and had the opportunity to meet some wonderful people and bid on the many fantastic items. This wonderful event was able to net $1,000,000 for the American Heart Association’s mission of fighting heart disease and stroke. The porceeds will directly support the lifesaving research, education and community programs of the American Heart Association.

Bill Bowen and Craig White of Suburban Video donated their time and equipment to help make this year’s fundraiser a success. Enjoy the video!
