Hello out there. We are techno wanna-be's that have amazed ourselves by being able to set up a Blog. Who knows, we may even 'twitter' if we become successful bloggers. Thank God for our Graphic Designer, Miguel, who points us in the right direction and holds our hand at every turn.
So I guess you are wondering who we are. Well, for you paper lovers, we are a long-time fine stationery store located in the Gables.
With more than a decade of shared friendship and business partnering, Bonnie Pato and Lisa DeNunzio took a leap of faith in the fall of 2006 to become first-time entrepreneurs as the new owners of the famed and reputable Paper Emporium.
Paper Emporium presented a perfect venue for our creativity and good old-fashioned customer service, to which we are no strangers. Polishing and renewing this diamond in the rough has been our goal since we hit the ground running. Our wonderful husbands have shared their blood, sweat and tears with us during periods of renovation. We owe them much for their love and support.
Old and new customers have enjoyed the quaint and cozy new look, along with the ‘high standards’ tunes of yesterday that resonate throughout the shoppe. To keep in step with current trends, Paper Emporium offers stationery selections for all tastes. We have chosen fine European papers, letterpress notes, embossed or engraved correspondence cards and an endless selection of imprintables for all the special moments in your life. Dare we say, we possess the largest collection in South Florida?
So, drop us a line. We would love to hear from other stationery aficianados

Are you creatively blocked??? If so, we have just the remedy. For the past few weeks we have been conducting workshop's based on Julia Cameron's best selling book, The Artist's Way. A series of 'artist dates' and writing daily morning pages help you to rediscover your path to living a creative life. We are a collective and eclectic 'bunch of characters' all from various backgrounds and cultures but with a common desire to fulfill our creative selves. Last week's task was to assemble a collage, basically a rip and shred 20 minute exercise of images torn from magazines or the like. When assembled the collages revealed dreams and discoveries about ourselves that we may not have been aware. The sacred circle of participants helps support each of us as we break through sometimes scary or even painful blocks that we have held for many years. The goal is to move forward, with baby steps and a 'leap and the net will appear' philosophy. Pick up a copy of the book and enjoy the ride.
