Donna and Christopher Wedding at New Wheatsheaf 2011-08-20

Wedding photography in Castleford this weekend with Donna and Christopher. I spent the first part of the wedding with Donna and her bridesmaids and parents at her home, then move on two St Mary’s Magdalene church, Altofts, where the wedding was taking place. got some nice shoots of the bridal party outside the church before move on two the  reception at New Wheatsheaf, Altofts where the rest of the photos was taken.

The Quiet Man 60 Years On 2011-08-30

The first annual Quiet Man Festival

Sixty years on from the shooting of the film The Quiet Man in Cong, Co. Mayo, Ireland, one of the stars return to the village to preside at the official opening of a festival which will honour that momentous time in the history of the village. Maureen O’Hara was the guest of honour throughout the weekend of August 26 and 28 and conduct the official ceremony at the Celtic Cross in Cong at 7pm on the Friday evening.

Michelle and Phillip Wedding 2011-09-30

Michelle & Phillip were married today at Holy Cross  church in Airedale  and then went on to their reception at Magnet Hotel.

St Wilfrids Day 2011 2011-10-19

On Thursday 20thOctober St Wilfrid’s school community gathered with invited guests to celebrate their feast day.

A full afternoon’s programme of events and treats was provided for the students and this included many fund raising activities which the students themselves had organised on behalf of the East Africa Famine Appeal.
