First things first. Our favorite things for Spring 2009. Small skirts are in! No more poof or large ball gowns. Trumpet, mermaid, fit and flair, they are all slimming and very fashion forward. These dresses echo the galmour and elegance of the Art Deco period. Our favorites,

We met Beth almost a year ago to the day before her wedding. She had searched for the one, and was not able to find it until she came to us. After a couple of hours looking, she finally had it narrowed down to two, of course one of them was tugging at her heart more then the other. A week later she came back in, put the dress back on and new it was hers. Beth married the man of her dreams on October 2, 2009 at the Barney Estate at Forrest Park. She looked absolutley stunning in her Aberdeen dress by
Blue by Enzoani. In her own words, "This was the BEST day of my life. I was so excited to finally marry my best friend. The stress of all the planning was about to become real life and I was on Cloud 9. To see the amazement on Chris's face when he saw me for the first time was unforgettable. No one else mattered at that time. It was all about us. During the ceremony and the reception, my adreneline was pumped. I wanted us to have the time of our lives. I spent most of the night on the dance floor with all of my closest friends, dancing the night away.
My dress made me feel like a princess. It was so comfortable and fit perfecty, that I felt all eyes were on me! I could not have picked a more flattering dress. "

Hello! It's been awhile since we've done an entry. We had a crazy summer and fall, but we're back. A couple weekends ago, I went down to NY for the annual spring bridal market to purchase styles for next year. Yes the new gowns and accessories were gorgeous and we can't wait to get them in, but the real show stopper was the bridesmaid dresses from
Lynn Lugo. We've always loved them, but this season Lynn has really out done herself. The styles are incredibly fashion forward and cute. There are a ton of new skirt and bodice styles as well as lengths. These dresses defiantly are ones you can wear again and again. I know I already plan on buying one for myself! They should be hitting the store in late winter. Can't wait!!

Finally, we are officially out of winter and into spring. Pearl is fast approaching it's one year anniversary and we just received the good news that we were
number 3 on The Valley Advocates 2009 readers poll for Best Bridal Shop. What a great accomplishment! We would like to thank everyone who voted for us and who has made our first year in business a very successful one!
