Savannah, not the city! 2008-03-30

Thank you and Emily and Savannah for a great photoshoot!   Savannah was so much fun to photograph. Stephanie did such an amazing job with the styling and hair- it is those little things that make the images unique.  We are looking forward to showing you all the images, but for now here is a few of our favorites!!

Charleston Fashion Week 2008-04-04

Thank you Katie for your hard work at Charleston Fashion Week.  The Saturday bridal show was a big success!  We had the opportunity to photograph the event and preview this years upcoming fashion. Charleston is the second largest wedding choice after Vegas;  We are excited about photographing these fashions at future weddings.  Once again, thank you to Katie and all the designers who made the event extraordinary!  (more...)

Tour de France in Greenville, S.C. 2008-04-10

I recently travelled to Greenville for a two day shoot with George Hincapie for Northwave Cycling.  George is a Tour de France bicyclist and teammate of Lance Armstrong on all his 7 victories.  One of the big challenges with the shoot was George is 6'4" tall.  We had to shoot in the lobby of Hincapie Sports and needed to block a considerable amount of light by subtraction (basically this means using a black cloth to absorb the studio flashes).  We were able to achieve the sculpted lighting needed to duplicate the Matrix style needed for the ad campaign which will run in North America and Europe.
Thanks again to everyone involved in making the image successful.  It was great meeting George, Rich and Rian.  Thanks for the southern hospitality!

Battle of Charleston! 2008-04-22

This weekend was the 4th annual civil war reenactment on Johns Island.  For those of you who knew I was attending the event, I am happy to say that I escaped with only surface wounds.  Many others did not fare so well!  It was great meeting the interesting people who participated and educated us on the history behind the event.  For those at home keeping score, the Yankees won Saturday and the Confederates prevailed on Sunday.  Thank you to everyone involved at especially to the 27th South Civil War Reenactors organization for an extraordinary experience.   (more...)
