Extreme Home Makeover – One Year Later 2010-11-19

One year ago, Jim and I had the awesome opportunity to take family portraits of the Powell family before ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover built their brand new home. Our portraits were used to decorate the Powell’s new home. Working with the Powell family was an incredible experience. They are SO deserving of everything they have experienced over the past year.

Molly and Joe – One Sweet wedding! 2010-10-18

Wedding season 2010 closed with an amazing celebration.  Molly and Joe were married on a perfect fall day full of color, friends, fun, and lots of family love. The bride wore a dress that could have easily passed for a “Vera Wang,” however, it was made by her mom!  Molly’s dad was also very busy on the big day…he walked his daughter down the aisle, then performed a beautiful wedding ceremony.   (Doesn’t this sound like something you might see on “The Young and the Restless?” )

As this crazy-busy wedding season comes to an end, I can’t help but think about how lucky I am to document weddings like Molly and Joe’s.  Here are a few pictures from their awesome day.  (PS…The album cover picture wasn’t my idea.  ;)

Elise and Greg do the limbo at Chautauqua 2010-10-14

Elise and Greg had a grand celebration at the historic Chautauqua Institution.  Their day featured a horse-drawn carriage, some amazing limbo dancers, and one very cute little girl.  Here is a little preview of their day…

Sarah and Joe get big heads on their wedding day! 2010-10-14

A few Saturdays ago, I made the long (but beautiful) trip to Syracuse to capture Sarah and Joe on their wedding day.  Sarah by far was the most organized bride I’ve ever worked with.  :)  The couple and their crew were a blast to photograph, and I think I have a new all-time favorite picture…the image on the top of their gallery.  Here are a few images from their day…

Taylor and John wed under fall color 2010-10-13

Taylor and John were married on a beautiful Fall day, after almost two weeks of non-stop rain.  They were married in the same church I was married, so the memories of my wedding day were everywhere.  Their reception featured a great Zydeco band from Albany known as Captain Squeeze and the Zydeco Moshers.  Here is a little preview from their day…
