Roquette Catering

Roquette Catering is a small and personal full service company. We don't have any pre set menus, or packages... each event we do is customized to our client. We work in a collaborative process, putting together proposals based on information we get from you, about what you love, what you hate, what you're envisioning, the kind of feeling you want to create etc. Let us help you create magic.

Monica’s background was in floral and event design, which led to photo styling, and food styling, and ultimately culinary school, so now as a caterer she incorporates all of those elements, and can offer everything from beautiful flowers and decor to delectable foods. Partner Leisah is a production stage manager, and as such can provide everything from furniture rental, lights and sound to tent and stage set ups etc. Because we are a small company, every event is personally designed, and created. We only do 1 event a week so we can fully focus all of our attention on our client.

We own a lovely little wine bar in Red Hook, and generally our first step is to invite you to come and see us. It's the best way to get a sense of our style and aesthetic, as well as taste some of our yummy food and wine!  It's really important to feel good about the people you hire to produce your wedding, and similarly, we need to feel good about the people whose weddings we work on. It's too important a day for you, and frankly too much work for us to do if it's not a good fit we all feel great about. Once you hire us we want you to feel relieved and relaxed that your event is in wonderful hands, and that you can rest and enjoy it rather than stress over it!

It's easy being green! Roquette Catering uses farm fresh greens whenever the season permits from Red Hook Farm and local eggs from Red Hook Poultry Association. We practice local and sustainable principles as much as possible.
