To make it more exciting, I’m also listed as Top Photographers in Fearless directory!! I’m taking a screen shot as I don’t know if I can maintain that position! There are so many talented photographers in this directory competing for the best of the best!!

Today is my birthday. But instead of writing a happy birthday to me post, I’ll talk about what I experienced just a couple days ago. I have a photography bucket list. Every year I do at least one project from my bucket list. One of them is documenting the miracle of birth. I can’t just go on Facebook and pick an expecting couple, and ask if I could tag along when they go to labor. But the Gensons are very special to me. Melissa assisted me in weddings and I had the privileged of photographing their wedding a couple years ago. I was so excited when they allowed me to document their birth a couple days ago. If you think weddings are long & exhausting, try photographing a birth, and waiting for 18 hours, always looking for moments & anticipating if the push is going to be the final push.
So enough rambling on my birthday. But this post it’s not about mine, it’s about baby Landon & his family. Dim your lights, turn on your speaker, and join me for the birth of baby Landon. I’m honored to win 5 images from Wedding Photojournalist Association in 2011. Four images won in 2011 Q4 contest, and one from 2011 Q3 contest. Thanks to all my couples for trusting me with my vision & allowing me to freedom to do what I do best! I couldn’t have done this without you!
