Sryvilay and Wesley are beautiful, inside and out. I love that these two both have such warm smiles, soft hearts, and a long history of knowing each other. They’ve been together for years, but spending time with them it’s as if they’re love is brand new. And seriously, I couldn’t have asked for a better looking couple. Is it fair to look this good?
We met up at the Huntington Beach Library and Botanical Gardens in San Marino for their engagement shoot. It was our first time there and we did quite a bit of wandering through the park capturing while I captured intimate moments between the two.

Aren’t they both just ridiculously good looking?

And not only that, they are so cute with each other! Check out the smiles on these two! If that isn’t love, I don’t know what is. This is the type of shot I look for on the wedding day once the couple is married and they walk back up the aisle as Mr. and Mrs.

There’s that look of love again. I so love what I do!

This next one is smoking hot!

How fabulous are Sryvilay’s jeweled pumps? I can’t wait to see your wedding day heels! I know they’re going to be hot!

Loved her big bangles too! This girl definitely knows how to accessorize!

Then with a change of clothes we continued on with a more casual shoot.

I totally dig these next few in the grass shots!

Love the action shots of these next two!

It was a gorgeous day filled with lavish details, incredibly touching moments, and tons of fun for their guests. The love that Beatriz and David share with each other and with their families was so evident, I feel so blessed to have been a part of their big day. A big thank you goes out to Katie of Bella Destinee and her team for coordinating such an incredibly gorgeous event and another huge thank you goes out to Ming and my dear husband Jeff for shooting with me that day!
We started off at the Delfina Sheraton in Santa Monica where I fell in love with Beatriz’s fuschia Manolo Blahnik’s.

How stunning are Beatriz and David’s rings? Be still my heart….

Loved Beatriz’s gorgeous Amsale gown and how it coordinated perfectly with her Manolo’s!

Feminine and whimsical and light as air with all those soft layers.

The lace on her drop veil was to die for!

Kerim Albanes of My Wedding Blooms did such an amazing job with the florals and reception decor!

Beatriz’s twin sister helping with the finishing touches.

The guys’ getting ready as captured by Ming. Awesome.

When the girls were all dolled up we headed downstairs for some portraits.

Love the light and the texture of the background in this next shot!

Just a reminder to everyone out there. Don’t kiss the bride and mess up her makeup on her wedding day!

Then we set off to St. Martin of Tours Church for the ceremony.

David walking his Mother and Sister down the aisle. Love the look between David and his Mother! How sweet is that?

I think I am in love with these two little boys! They’re so cute and so sweet and so stylin’!

David holding it together as he sees his bride for the first time.

Beatriz and her Father walking down the aisle to meet David.

The new Mr. and Mrs! I absolutely love capturing the bride and groom as they make their way back up the aisle!

Boys will be boys. Another hilarious shot captured by Ming

As a surprise for his new wife, David rented a 1960’s Rolls Royce for them to ride around town in for portraits and to their reception!

Then we were off to take portraits!

It’s all in the details.

Luna Party Rentals did an amazing job with the draping and decor! I didn’t even recognize the ballroom once they finished doing what they do best!

In leiu of favors, the couple made a generous donation to the Cancer Research Foundation UK.

David and Beatriz’s sweetheart table.

Beatriz and David danced a sweet little choreographed number for their first dance.

A tender moment as they listened to toasts made in their honor.

They had tradional Korean fan and drum dancers to entertain their guests and even partook in the Korean Pye-Bek ceremony.

Someone is thrilled to have caught the bouquet! I have to admit, that this sequence of shots made me smile!

They had the most amazing band to play at their wedding as well. Seriously, the best band ever!

And they lived happily ever after!

I will be breaking this up into two posts because there are just too many awesome photos to share from Yvonne and Mike’s wedding!
Yvonne and Mike married and the beautiful Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, Ca. It was a gorgeous day and we were blessed with some amazing light! The day was filled with so much love and emotion. There were tears, there were laughs, there was crazy fun had by all during their reception. All in all, I’d say it was a perfect day.
A big thank you to Amanda of In the Now Weddings for coordinating such a wonderful event and to Jeret and Jeff for shooting with me that day!
Flower Allie did an amazing job with all the florals. The girls’ bouquets were so lush and pretty.

Yvonne’s gorgeous dress.

And the details. Lush bouquet of ivory peonies and roses, soft pink Enzo heels, and sparkling jewelry.

Now this is one happy bride!

We headed outdoors for some portraits of Yvonne and her bridesmaids.

Meanwhile, Jeret was over with the guys getting their portraits. I love that the wall matches Mike’s green eyes perfectly.

Mike brings out his inner GQ.

The guys clean up well don’t you think?

Yvonne looking as gorgeous as can be!

A sweet kiss from Mike after their first look moment.

I occasionally get asked by potential clients if I do traditional poses as well and I do! They just don’t always make it on to my blog, but I do always make sure to take them.

And Jeret’s take from a different angle.

And I totally love this one Jeret got as well!

Yvonne and Mike have the greatest friends ever. They had us all laughing with them all day long!

PDA alert!

Then we excused the wedding party to focus on taking portraits of the soon to be Mr. and Mrs. on the beautiful Rancho Las Lomas estate.

Yvonne has such innocent doe like eyes. I don’t think Mike will ever be able to say no to his wife. All she has to do is look up at him with her big brown eyes and flutter her lashes a bit and BOOM!

And I love that Yvonne and Mike can work it for my camera. This is so hot!

My take.

And Jeret’s perspective.

So sweet, these two.

I totally love this one that Jeret got between takes!

A sweet little kiss for Mike.

Love this one Jeret captured.

Aw, so romantic. I absolutely love shooting at here!

Ceremony and Reception pictures to come in another post! Hope you all enjoyed Part I!

Our little baby girl with the crazy hair. She was born with hair, but mostly at her crown so now she’s got this long chunk of hair in the back that looks like a bad comb-over. The front part of her hair that’s growing in sticks straight up and curls back regardless of what we do to it. But you want to know the truth? I love her crazy hair. And her sausage link arms. And the way the tops of her ears stick out like an elf.

I love her gummy jelly bean smile. And how her eyes light up and she gets all chatty and tries to sing with me when I sing her Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Her baby fat rolls are the best I’ve ever seen, but they pale in comparison to how cute her little tushie is. Let me tell you, it is baby perfection.

She screeches, coos, and sings herself to sleep and will shove my fingers into her mouth as fast as she can to gnaw on my knuckles. She’ll lick my arms, shoulder, knees and neck if she can get her mouth on it. She laughs the most for Daddy and I love hearing the two of them laughing together in the other room.

She absolutely loves bath time and will kick and splash to her hearts content. She doesn’t like getting dressed because that usually means we have to pull something on over her head and she’s not a fan of that. And Ellie, I’m sorry Daddy put your onesie on you backwards yesterday and it took me all day to figure it out. I wondered why you looked weird and why the buttons snapped differently from all your other ones.

Not five minutes into our shoot, she was over it.
We love you, baby!

Part I of Yvonne and Mike’s wedding can be found HERE.
As I mentioned before, Yvonne and Mike had such a touching ceremony filled with both tears of joy and laughter. Rancho Las Lomas is such a great venue. It’s outdoors, but the ceremony is held on spanish tile so you don’t have to worry about heels sinking into the grass, and it’s covered by hundred year old oaks that provide shade for your guests.

The ceremony details were so pretty.

Jeret caught this one of Yvonne’s parents walking Yvonne down the aisle.

And from my vantage point.

Just so you all know, doing a first look definitely doesn’t take away from the emotion you’ll feel while walking down the aisle to meet your soon to be husband.

Love these next two that Jeff captured of the entire ceremony.

Jeret captured these next two moments during their ceremony. They’re so incredibly sweet and tender.

And talk about a perfect kiss!

The new Mr. and Mrs. Howard! I love the look Yvonne is giving Mike.

Making it legal.

Cocktail hour was hosted on the upper level by the fountain.

24 Carrots catered the event and the food was delish!

Love this one Jeff got of their guest book sign in table.

There was a mix of tall and short centerpieces that filled the reception hall beautifully.

Table set up pictures from Jeret.

The cake smelled divine! I love going to weddings and smelling all that buttercream frosting wafting in the air. Yum!

Loved Yvonne’s reaction to her MOH’s speech.

Time to cut the cake!

Ok, so I love the juxtaposition of the next two images. Here are the girls fighting each other tooth and nail to get their hands on the bouquet.

But check out this guy. He’s got that Oh. Dear. God. No. look of horror on his face when he realizes he’s about to catch the garter because the groomsman in front of him ducked out of the way at the last moment. Awesome.

But he got over it.

Yvonne and Mike’s wedding reception was quite the party!

Who’s yo Daddy?

Yvonne eventually changed into this stunning short dress to party the night away with her guests. Here she is cutting up the dance floor with her Father.

And they lived happily ever after.

The End!
