Mitch, Karmelle, Clare and Baby Bump-Yakima 2009-10-02

My husband and I spent Labor Day weekend with some of dear friends on the other side of the mountains. They asked me to take some shots before their family expanded. We had quite the adventure at the Yakima Botanical Gardens. The clouds were getting darker and darker as we shot, and finally the rain couldn't hold and it just dumped! We took cover in a gazebo then made a dash for the car. We had to finish up the shoot at their home, and the sun finally peeked out at the end.

Casey and Amanda-Wine and Roses Estate 2009-10-02

When I met with Amanda before her wedding, she told me this was going to a very fun wedding. She backed it up too, it was an incredibly fun wedding! Amanda has exquisite taste, and the wedding was filled with beautiful, personal and well-thought out details. But it was also a 'rollicking' good time. One of my favorite parts had to be when the Casey and his groomsmen admitted that they had gone to the shooting range before the wedding and asked if I could take pictures of them posing with their guns. Awesome. And that's the best way to describe Casey and Amanda; awesome.

Tyler and Ashley-Maplewood Country Club 2009-10-02

I think the biggest impression left on me by this wedding was how kind everyone was. Ashley and Tyler seem to be surrounded with the blessing of kind and gracious family and friends. It was a pleasure to photograph such a wedding.
