Kelly & Ted – Columbia River Gorge Wedding 2012-02-27

Kelly & Ted were married at Ted’s family’s historic orchard in the Columbia River Gorge. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful event filled with friends, family, children and pie (made by the guests).  Kelly and Ted’s very mellow dog Rusty did an amazing job as the ring bearer.  They also hired a company to install the very unique looking and highly effective sun shades that added a different look and helped everyone stay out of the heat.

Katie & Robert – Portland, Oregon Engagement Photos 2011-12-22

I recently met Katie & Robert downtown for their engagement session where we enjoyed some very rare December sun.  It wasn’t warm…but it was gorgeous.  I had a great time with them and enjoyed chatting with Robert about his home country, Germany where I lived for a while in my 20’s.  I am very excited to photograph their wedding this summer at the beautiful Yougberg Hill Inn & Vineyard.

My Daughter’s 6 Month Birthday 2011-12-08

A few days ago we celebrated my daughter Isabel’s 6 month birthday…yay! My wife and I did a special photo shoot to commerate the occasion.

Stacy & John – Bridal Veil Lake Wedding – Oregon Wedding Photography 2011-09-24

Stacy and John were married at the beautiful Bridal Veil Lakes venue in the Columbia River Gorge.  Their wedding fit them and their friends and family very well with a very child friendly atmosphere (John and Stacy have a baby boy Samson), lots of interesting details at the reception, bubbles at the ceremony and an excellent bluegrass band playing into the night.  Samson was part of the ceremony and his squeal of joy as he saw Stacy walking down the aisle was priceless.  Congrats to Stacy, John & Samson!

Stacy & John – Family Portrait Session 2011-10-02

I photographed Stacy & John’s wedding this summer at Bridal Veil Lakes.  Instead of an standard engagement session, they wanted to do a family portrait session after their wedding with their 9 month old son Samson.  So we met at a very cool local park, enjoyed a great sunset and let Samson throw the cute around with reckless abandon.  He is one of the happiest, smiliest babies I’ve ever been around.
