Sugar Hybiscus Wedding Cake 2009-02-18

Ericka McCristen & Robert Muir had a beautiful reception at Sedona Golf Resort. Ericka favorite flowers are Hybiscus. She wanted them made in blue. So I used a color swatch to create these beauties.


Had so much fun trying to fiqure out how to make Sugar Hybiscus.




The couple wanted a wonderful tasting buttercream canvas for their cake but wanted a fondant flair with draping. I combined the two. (more...)
