Don’t use Frederick from Sensational Productions. He’s a rip off. He never answered the phone, he delays appointments and never tells you when a vendor of his decides not to work with him. The end product that he gives you is horrible. If you have a contract with him and haven’t given him that much money, get out of it. It will be worth it in the end. We would have done that if he didn’t have 75% of the wedding cost.
If you do a search on his home address: 7126 W. Cherry Hills Drive, Peoria 85345, you will be able to find all his aliases. His real name is Harlen Cone. He has had multiple business names. They are: Accurate Media, Absolute Best, Advent Of Wedding Art Photography, epiphany photography and now Sensational Wedding Photography. The earliest bad review on Harlen Cone I could find was 2006. Which means he has changed his business name every year, to avert detection of his negativity. He has multiple complaints on the complaint board website and is a fraud.
We met him in November and signed a contract with him. I had done research on his company but nothing came up on Sensational Productions. I asked him for his LLC and testimonials. He did supply me with them. Still, something didn’t feel right. We met with our efficient in January and agreed to have her do our wedding. In March she called us to inform us that she was no longer going to work with him, therefore, no longer going to work with us. We allowed him the opportunity to tell us but after a couple months we confronted him about the efficient. He said she was tripping and doesn’t know why she didn’t want to work with him. We gave him the opportunity to find someone else. It took him another 4 months to tell us he found someone else. After weeks and weeks waiting for this new person to call us, I told him that we no longer wanted to work with this person we haven’t even met and to find us someone new. From the previous hassles, we decided to find our own. Which, she was fabulous.
We met our cake lady and she was great. She was supposed to get a cake topper for us so we called her a couple weeks before the wedding to find out that she no longer wants to work with him. From her side, he owed her so much money for cakes that he didn’t pay her for. She agreed to work with us separately from him. It took us fighting with him for him to finally give us our money back for the cake so that we could pay her. But said he couldn’t give us our money for the efficient because it would mess up his books. Don’t see the difference but that was his excuse. He in turn said he would pay for the security guard that we were required by law to have for the alcohol. By the way, his security guard was also the DJ.
So the week before our wedding we find out that the cake lady hadn’t made our cake. We worked that out but then 3 days before the wedding he told us that the venue had double booked our reception location and he got us a remade instead. I wanted an interior reception. But because it was so close to the wedding, we had to go with that. The remade was in a park full of people enjoying the park and birthday parties. We had no seclusion like we had wanted. The remadas had picnic tables instead of real tables. It was a glorified picnic. We get there around 2pm to find out that the time on our wedding invitations he had told us incorrectly.
Before the wedding started the cake started to melt and Frederick wasn’t going to fix it. That’s not his job. My friends went over there and took care of the cake. He was getting ready to leave and told them “hey, you are going to watch everything right?” My friend called me and I said no, that is not your job. That is his. Tell him that. I spent so much time on the phone trying to get him to do his job.
The wedding had to start 30 minutes late. When the wedding was about to start, he didn’t even have our boutiques to us yet and got them to us barely before the wedding started. He only had one for us but didn’t have anything for our wedding party like he said he was going to have. He had a cheapy video recorder and a few of the photos were over-exposed. My guests didn’t know where to go because he was a one-man show and no one was directing them to the reception.
The food finally comes and it looked cheapy put together. One of the dishes didn’t even have a spoon. I went to inform him that the spoon wasn’t there and asked him why we had cheap paper plates instead of the fancy plastic ones he was to have there. He said that he couldn’t find enough of the one kind and didn’t want to mix match them so he just got those. They were janky. It was a joke.
The music was way too loud and he didn’t even play what we had discussed. I had to go ask his DJ to play different kinds of music. If it wasn’t for our friends and family, it would have sucked worse.

I used Sensational Wedding Photography aka Fredrick to plan my entire wedding. He said he could do an all-inclusive package with a high-end venue for $6,000. Since my budget was extremely tight, I accepted his offer. Boy did I get what I paid for.
He led me to believe that the reason he could do all of the vendor contracts for so cheap was because of his discounts and "connections." I found out later it was because he didn't contract the work out at all--he did all of it himself!
He cooked all of the food himself, which I'm fairly sure is a major health code violation, since I doubt he has a license. The food tasted fine, but it looked extremely tacky. Everything was served in disposable foil trays and tupperware. The roses for our bouquets and boutonniers he promised were nearly dead. (The nice people at the venue were kind enough to replace the flowers.)
He did all of the photography, of course, and later gave me an unedited disc full of mostly unusable pictures for me to go through. Nothing printed or in a nice book. He also did all of the videography himself with a handheld camcorder. Talk about stretching yourself thin! I honestly haven't even looked at the video because it will only piss me off. Oh, did I mention that he was our DJ as well? Not only did he have to be told several times to play songs from our playlist, when he actually did play them, he just played youtube videos of our songs! His computer froze up regularly during dances and we could hear Yahoo Messenger going off in the background the whole time.
He also showed up looking absolutely disgusting--greasy hair and cheap clothes that didn't fit. The wait staff at the venue looked more professional than he did. And if that wasn't bad enough...on more than one occasion, flashed his buttcrack to all of our guests while he was working. I might as well have had a plumber plan my wedding.
Seriously, do not hire this "company." You will regret it, deeply.

The wedding pictures were horrible, very blurry, heads cut off in pictures. They were printed off a Kodak machine from Walgreen's was always late on returning phone calls and always had an excuse for not having them ready. Needless to say I never received everything I had paid for. I took him to small claims court and won the case. I am still waiting for my settlement money it has been over two years. He did a horrible job and even got an argument with one of his friends at our reception. He was also sleeping at our reception when he was supposed to be taking pictures. He also has a couple of other companies that he uses. AZ Bridal Photography, Accurate Wedding photography, and Accurate/Absolte Best. Do not use this company for your pictures he will end up ruining the day your supposed to remember for ever and it turns into a nightmare.
