Before Jamie and Curt get married this summer they asked me my thoughts on an engagement session. It sounded like a good idea to me! We decided on Forest Park in Springfield as our backdrop and spent some time walking around and having fun. Epic Filmmakers Wedding Cinematography Seminar 2012-05-07

I recently spent some time with my friend David Long of Epic Filmmakers at his Easthampton, MA studio photographing his wedding cinematography workshop. Brides Tell All at the Delaney House 2012-03-17

I recently attended an informational event by Brian Nicks Productions at the Delaney House in Holyoke. “Brides Tell All” featured many local wedding vendors as well as a panel of newly wedded brides talking about their wedding planning experiences. Dawn and Tim’s Surprise Wedding at the Log Cabin 2012-03-13

I first met Dawn, Tim, and their kids Brianna and Dennis at a fundraiser two years ago. The event was held by their friends to raise funds to help the family with medical bills stemming from Dawn’s cancer treatments, and I had documented the event which was called Dawn of Hope. A second fundraiser, this time at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, was attended by hundreds of friends and family with seven bands performing throughout the day.

What was a surprise to most of the guests, though, was that Dawn and Tim had planned to renew their vows on stage, something I was particularly excited to photograph. They both got ready in the Log Cabin’s VIP rooms, hiding from guests so as not to spoil the surprise, and I stayed with them to photograph those events as well.
