I was shocked when my best friend told me that Shavon had gotten bad reviews. I was married in June 2010 and hired Shavon to do all the flowers for my wedding party and I. She was very helpful and worked very closely with me to make sure everything was perfect. I was so happy the day I recieved them in the mail. They were eactly what I wanted and exactly like the pictures she had sent to me. I of course reccomended her to everyone I knew getting married, including my best friend and little sister. When the time came to look at some pictures and contact her about my sisters wedding, I thought my internet connection was bad. I could not pull up the website. It wasn't until yesterday that my friend told me that she has also had problems getting into the website and that she read the bad reviews. This is very upsetting to me not only because of the great name I have been giving her, but because I couldn't have imagined having better more beautiful flowers for my wedding, I feel so bad for the ladies who had a bad experience with Shavon. Because of this, I will no longer be reccomending her. I do have to be honest with my review and I was amazed with my flowers. I was also shocked to read the review stating not to count on her if you live more than 50 miles from the flower shop. Shavon is located in Florida and I am in Iowa. These two places are much further than 50 miles away. I am so sorry to the brides who were not able to have a great experience with Shavon. I hope you both had amazing wedding days aside from the issue.

Shavon's wedding Silks is a RIP OFF! My husband found the business online because we where looking for a certain type of flower that we couldnt find in the state that i lived in. He had called her and sent emails with what we where looking for and what we wanted. She at first responed to him letting him know that she could do our order and how much it was, she even gave us a military discount for my husband being in the service. We gave our deposit and after that had a hard time getting in touch with her. My husband called and sent many email with our concerns because we had not heard from her. I then started calling,her voicemail box was always full. She once returned my phone call and told me that everything was going good and she was working on our order. I had other concerns so i called her and got no respond. My husband received an email letting him know that the final payment was due and when he questioned her about our order he got no respond. Shevon's Wedding Silks is not professional and caused a great deal of stress for me and my husband who was deployed at the time! We had got nothing from them but a headache, and we were out of our deposit!

Worst mistake of my wedding planning. Yes this company is listed everywhere and yes the positive reviews may outweight the negative. But please please do not do business with this company unless you are within 50 miles of the company. I filed a BBB complaint against her. I ordered my flowers over a year ago and entered into a signed contract in which I paid over the min. required deposit. However the last six months prior to my wedding I could nt even contact her. I called, tweeted, sent emails, had my coordinator contact her, sent letters, even had a vendor that is listed on her webpage to contact her. All said they havent seen or heard from her in months. Well luckily with a wholesale florist, my mom, and godmother I had beautiful flowers. She cant say I didnt uphold my side, would you send in the balance of something you havent had any contact with the vendor in over 6 months? My balance was due 2 weeks prior to my 10-16-10 wedding, I declined to send the payment in after I didnt hear from her ever again. I lost $230 dollars that could have gone somewhere else. So yes her flowers are beautiful, but is she reliable? I only wished I was in Florida that way I could 've paid her a visit. So if you are in another state or country (I am in TN) do not do business with Shavon's Wedding Silks
