Blue Morning at Kanaha with the Oddson Family - Maui Family Portraits Preview 2012-05-21

I just love Kanaha Beach! It is a mostly local beach so it is a ghost town on the weekdays. It has a huge variety of scenery and the water and sky there is crazy blue and aqua! The Oddson family let me choose their location so Kanaha it was! They wanted to capture some fun and casual portraits of their family enjoying Maui together. There little guy was such a cutie pie, I had a great time chasing him around trying to capture his sweet personality. Mahalo Oddson Family for choosing me as your Maui Photographer!

A Dreamy North Shore Maui Wedding - Camila & Luiz's Maui Wedding Preview by Maui Wedding Photographer Karma Hill 2012-05-21

I LOVE the North Shore. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! The light there is just absolutely magical. Camila & Luiz chose my favorite beach on the island, Baldwin Beach for their Maui beach wedding. Camila was just stunning in her flowing dress, the wind was blowing just enough to make the dress dance and flow in the wind as she was making her entrance to the ceremony. They chose a sunset ceremony and the light was soft and dreamy, it really looked just like it does in the photos, I did not use any special actions or presets. While we were taking their photos after the ceremony a man came up an serenaded them on his flute, it was so cute! The couple was visiting Maui from New York but is originally from Brazil. They really connected with the islands and will be back soon, I just know it!!

Love at Ironwoods - Lai and Will's Beach Engagement Session 2012-05-16

Will and Lai are the cutest couple! They had lots of fun ideas on how to personalize their engagement photos, from the champagne to the writing on their shoes (he runs an internet shoe company). We met at Ironwoods beach in Kapalua Maui and it was a beautiful evening! The light was soft, the winds were light and I had the perfect models! Mahalo Will & Lai, I know you will have an amazing wedding!

The Return of the Reagan Family! - Maui Family Portraits Preview by Maui Photographer Karma Hill 2012-05-11

I was so happy to hear the Reagan's chose me again as their Maui photographer for their family portraits. I did portraits for them in 2010 when their little girls were much smaller. They are now fully mobile and gave me a run for my money trying to keep up with them! We were supposed to meet at DT Fleming beach but it was raining there so we moved their session to Baby Beach in Lahaina. It was absolutely perfect weather there and we had a great time capturing their special vacation memories. Bright Morning with the Brown's - Maui Family Portraits Preview by Maui Photographer Karma Hill 2012-05-04

I met the adorable and stylish Brown family at one of my favorite West Maui locations, Ironwoods beach in Kapalua. The water there is so amazingly aqua blue and the rocks are so dramatic. You can tell this family likes to have fun together, they were having a great time playing in the water and just enjoying the scenery. The Brown's were visiting from the Seattle area and wanted a location that was obviously not a pacific northwest beach. I think we accomplished that, I would never mistake this beach for one you can find in the northwest! Mahalo to the Brown family for choosing me to be your Maui Photographer!
