Last weekend I headed into Boston to help out Keirnan of KCK Photography photograph Julian & Gary’s wedding.
The ceremony was held at the lovely Arlington Street Church. I loved the moment just before she headed down the aisle with her dad, where they shared this knowing look between each other. And then post ceremony, the celebratory hands ‘in the air like you just don’t care’ to the folks watching from beyond the church steps!
After, we all walked over to the swank + stunning Four Seasons Hotel for the couple’s reception. The room decor & lighting were breathtaking! And I must mention, there wasn’t a moment in the whole time at the Four Seasons that I did not feel welcomed. They treated everyone as though you were VIP guest. Amazing service, personalities + style!
What a blast, I’m so glad the rain held off so they could join Keirnan in the Commons for some outdoor images.
Congrats Julian + Gary!

Ready to re-live the happiness? I am!
The fantastically talented Vladimir Chaloupka of Vlad Photo Santa Fe New Mexico documented all the revelry, madness, and bouts of learning that happened at this years Mystic 5 CT Seminars.
I adore Vlad’s work, and this Vladeo
is another impressive creation from him. Thank you for sharing and shooting Vlad!!
Enjoy the show:

Lisa & Chad were so much fun to photograph! They braved the chilly windy Newport RI weather, suggested having images taken in the arcade while they played skee-ball, and settled in at Castle Hill for the last stretch of the shoot.
Thank you for hanging you two! Here are a handful of some of my favorites:

The other day I had the pleasure of working with Susie & Ruth, of Eva Ruth’s (stay tuned for their new and improved website!) maker of extremely yummy, to-die-for wheat free & gluten free pastries. You may not think all those words could go together in one sentence, but trust me. Order the pumpkin cake. Your tummy will love you forever!
I did a small favor for them and in return they gifted me a lovely box of chocolates from a nut-free facility in Vermont. Who knew there was such a thing?!
It was so lovely of them to not only take the time to send a thank you but also to remember I have a nut allergy!
Thank you ladies, now I get to have my chocolates and eat them too!

Actually, I’d like to extend big warm fuzzy ‘Thank you’s to all that voted for Stacey Doyle Photography + allowed me the honor of being chosen winner not only for The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2010, but also for Wedding Wire’s Bride’s Choice Awards for 2010 for Rhode Island.

So – thank you!!! I owe each and every one of you a hug, a cupcake and, if you’re so inclined, a beer.
