The World’s Cutest 1 Year Old Girl 2012-04-08

Better late than never, right Katie?  I almost ALMOST forgot to post this blog entry, so thankfully I was reminded… because Baby T. is going to be entered in the Cutest Baby competition for GAP!  Obviously, there is NO contest once they see her… :)  C’mon, look at that expression!
Generally, one-year-olds are a challenge to photograph.  They don’t sit still, and when you add cake into the mix, a One-Year portrait can be down right exhausting.  Not T.!  The hardest part about this session? Trying to avoid eating the cake before T. got to it… It was delicious!  And T. was a great sport the entire time.  Such a great baby.  Happy Birthday, T!

Incredibly adorable T. with her teddy bear

No!!! My bear!

So dainty.  Most babies go head-first – T. takes a scientific sampling instead.

Ok, that’s better.  :)

O Dio!  Can you even believe how cute this is!?

To be honest, getting this much cake on her was Mom’s doing.  She’s a very tidy baby.

All clean!  Look at those baby blues.  (pun intended.)

Hi I’m Jessica! 2012-03-29

Jessicas first shoot in the studio

Jessica's first shoot in the studio

Hi everyone! I’m Jessica. I’m here with Stephanie learning some things about Photography and Photoshop! Photoshop’s hard isn’t it??!! I also hadmy first studio shoot, it was fun! A little embarrassing, I’m not used to taking lots of photos of me by myself…By the way I’m Jessica. I just turned 21! I study marketing and my course is awesome. I have a full schedule between lessons and little jobs here and there, but I like to keep myself busy! In my free time I love to go out with my friends and have fun or watch different tv shows; my favorite tv show is “Prison Break”, too bad they cut the season off…It was so good. If you’ve never seen it you should watch it. The new series of “90210″ is great as well. Let’s see, what else do I like, well I love the sun and beach, in fact I’m happy spring is here, it’s the best season, not too hot nor too cold, perfect!

Andy, the Tuna-Loving, Folded-Ear Kitty 2010-12-17

This is Andy, one of the absolute cutest kitties I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with!  Completely easy to control, totally happy to be photographed.  Why you ask?  I think the answer might be the full can of Bumblebee tuna he scarfed down during the session!  Funniest part, though… he was SO excited to eat tuna he literally WAGGED his tongue!

Now, normally when I edit down cat images, I pull out all the images where the cat looks mad or he’s running away (or both).  In this case, Andy was perfectly (purr-fectly!  haha, get it?) happy to be there, stayed put… his edits, however, were removing all the ones where his tongue was happily hanging out of his mouth!  (Ok, well most – I included a really cute one of him.)

Andy will be one of the stars in the upcoming LOVEmutts book.  If you have an adopted mutt (cat or dog!) please email the studio!

How cute is this face?!

Gray on Gray, in Gray.  My favorite.  He works great in Black and White!

See!  There’s that tongue again.  Pbthththt!

Absolutely love his big green eyes.  Just gorgeous

Purrrr… (content after tuna!)

Spinning!  (Again, for tuna)

Tiny Jaguar! 2010-12-20

Doesn’t she look just like a miniature black panther?  Of course, that’s why her owners named her “Jag”!  She’s the teeny-tiniest little (full-grown) kitty I’ve ever seen.  Super adorable, with gorgeous black fur and big yellow eyes.  She’s just the cutest little thing.  Unlike Andy, I have to admit that Jag wasn’t so excited about having her portrait done.  She wasn’t overly excited about a can of tuna… she seemed to appreciate the leftover dry food that Rental Cat refused to eat though!  I’m glad somebody liked it anyway.

I’m pretty sure she’s sharpening her claws… ;)

Teeny Tiny Jaguar!

How pretty are those eyes?  Love this one of her.

Ok, so I know I normally don’t do props… but she just loved (chewing on) her ribbon so much!

My absolute favorite.  This will be her LOVEmutts image!

Dave assisted me on Cat-Wrangling for the session.  I’m pretty sure Jag thinks she’s in charge though!

And Baby Makes 4! 2010-12-21

You might remember this fabulous family of three from a few months ago.  Happy to announce, that Baby M. has finally arrived!  And, of course, he’s incredibly cute.  Like really, really cute.

Also, dog-brother Nelson is just too sweet about having a new baby.  He just loves his new brother so much.  Adorable!  :)

I figured I’d post some lovely black and white’s of the family for this blog post.

Just look at those little lips.  Doesn’t he have gorgeous eyes too?

Probably my favorite “photographer” shot… teeny tiny toes

Mom and Dad call this one “the face” – it certainly is!

I absolutely adore this one.  Love how his little tiny nose is being tickled.  :)

If ever there was an expression of “did I do that!?”…

Ok, so I had to throw in ONE color one… c’mon – look at that face!  See, I told you he was really really cute!

And of course, here’s a (near-complete) video of the session too!
