dThe first time we had issues with Sublime Bakery was when we went to pick up our tasting box. I am allergic to eggs so them having vegan options was a huge plus. The tasting box had 4 cupcakes in it. I wanted to have 2 vegan cupcakes for me and 2 "regular" cupcakes for my fiance. We drove almost 2 hours to get there and when we got there my 2 were done right but my fiances were both the same. When we asked why they were the same the lady said "oops, you only get to try 1 flavor today." I was pissed and I emailed Catherine and she said that she would take care of it. After looking for other bakeries to do my eggless grooms cake we decided to go back to Sublime because they could do really good looking cakes. All over their website it said the minimum purchase was 200 bucks. When I talked to them they said that the minimum was now 700 bucks! This was April 25th. They said their new pricing went into effect April 15th and even though we had been talking with them over 6 months about it since we didn't have a contract 10 days ago it would be 700 minimum. Their cakes are good, but they're not 700 bucks good. The owner is too wrapped up in book deals and tv deals to run a good bakery. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
