The O Tones

The O-Tones can play for your dance, wedding or party. It is a hot Swing, R&B, and Motown band from Western Massachusetts. With three singers as the core of the band, The O-Tones will melt your hearts with their powerful three-part harmonies. Add to that soulful sax, sassy guitar, and funky piano, bass, and drums and you won't be able to sit still!

The O-Tones band has been playing weddings, swing dances, and parties since 1993 and we still love what we do. We choose music we love (jazz, swing, R&B, and Motown) and arrange it for our sound. We are not your standard wedding band. We pour our souls into our music and people say it shows. We incorporate vocal harmonies as well as instrumental sections into our music so there is a big sound, full without being overpowering. From a sweet ballas to a soulful Motown hit to an upbeat swing tune, we groove along with the dancers and listeners. We cover well-known as well as B-side artists and songs: Marvin Gaye, Ella Fitzgerald, Wilson Picket, Frank Sinatra, Bonnie Raitt, Keb Mo', etc.

Yes, we carpool to our gigs. Inidvidually, we are all very conscious about recycling, gardening, not wasting energy, and being socially responsible.
