Charles is very pleasant to deal with before the wedding. He also has a good eye and generally takes good pictures.
Unfortunately, that is where all of the positive reviews stop.
We have spent 100+ hours getting Charles to fulfill his contractual obligations. He charged erroneous fees and held our pictures as leverage until these new fees were paid. He is very difficult to get in touch with and we documented multiple times where he said he would do something (or already said he did something) only to find out later it had not been done.
The timing did not help us, but after the wedding we heard from multiple other couples who had the same issues and frustrations. Some just gave up on their wedding album altogether. If you do choose to go with The Storyteller, I would strongly recommend you put all the due dates in writing and structure the contract so you can withhold a portion of the payment until the final product is delivered. Otherwise, your only remedy is to threaten a lawsuit. Make sure all details of your contract are explicitly stated in your contract.

Charles is unprofessional and borders on being a thief. He was hired to do my friend's wedding this past June at Furman and never showed. Want to know why, he was on vacation in Mexico. Here is the real kicker. He tried to get her to keep it quiet and would take care of her. What a joke, how can you miss a wedding you were hired to do? No excuse.
